Maine Deaf Timberfest 2005 - A Preview

Had a grand ol' time there. We were so bummed to leave this morning, just when we were having fun and getting into the groove. Here are few pictures as a preview. Will blog details once I get my head back together...

I would like to commend Maine Deaf Timberfest 2005 Committee for their excellent event planning and coordination. They were knowledgable and very helpful. I look forward to the next Timberfest hosted by Maine.

Too bad the Deaf Timberfest competition doesn't have another event such as the Deaf Strongman games as well. Both ought to be fun competitions to watch.

Strongman rings a bell.. didn't USA or TLC have a show about meatheads's vein popping from lifting something? can you explain more?

not familiar with the USA or TLC, just noting the fact that adding another competition would be ideal. Strongman games, for example, are growing in popularity. Very few deaf/hh people are actually into strength games. I'm one of them.
